Child Protection Awareness Webinar

The coronavirus pandemic has caused a major disruption to the normal way of life for many children and young persons in Trinidad and Tobago. This is especially evident by the closure of schools and a nationwide restriction of movement to help stop the spread of COVID-19. As a result, a record number of children and young persons have suddenly found themselves confined to their homes practising social distancing. This webinar is intended to equip participants with the knowledge, resources, and communication strategies to be able to identify, prevent, and report instances of child maltreatment.
