About the ChildLine School Ambassador Programme (CSAP)

This programme is a proactive response to address the needs of children through self-empowerment and peer-to-peer support. Moreover, the programme seeks to bring awareness in line with pro-social ideals to enhance the life chances of children and youths through various topics and interventions. These Ambassadors are expected to be role models to their fellow students, and peers, and promote the services of ChildLine. They would be engaged with a host of topics which includes teamwork, self-esteem, communication skills, peer-to-peer support, and leadership skills.
Roles of Ambassadors
- To be role models for the other students within the school population.
- To promote non-violence, as well as report bullying and other school violence.
- To inform other students about ChildLine and other child protection services.
- To direct students who need support call the relevant national child protection agency
- To distribute ChildLine brochures to students and bring awareness to different topics that are affecting children and youths.
- To observe the student population and make recommendations to inspire change.
- To provide peer-to-peer support to students in need.
- To attend all meetings called by the Staff or Head Ambassador.
