#My Story Daniel Pariman
Daniel’s journey has been one marked by grief, reflection, and resilience. In recent months, he faced heartbreaking loss with the passing of both his father and his best friend. Grief weighed heavily, bringing moments of loneliness, sadness, and emotional fatigue that many young people silently struggle through.

Growing through this pain, Daniel discovered that healing isn’t instant. It’s steady, quiet, and often found in small steps. Walking outdoors, meditation, journaling, and allowing himself to breathe became gentle ways to cope and regain clarity.
“I found comfort in small things — going for walks, meditating, and just taking time to breathe. Opening up to trusted people, like friends and family, also helped ease the weight I was carrying.”
Daniel’s experience reminds us that connection is powerful. A listening ear, a supportive voice, or a moment shared with someone who cares can make a world of difference. No one should have to face their hardest moments alone.
“Yes, the ChildLine School Ambassador Programme helped me express my emotions in healthier ways and made me more comfortable speaking up. I learned that talking through your feelings is not a weakness, it’s part of healing.”
“My message is this: If you notice someone isolating themselves, reach out. Sometimes, one message or conversation can make a world of difference. Be kind, be supportive, and don’t be afraid to check in on the people you care about.”
Daniel’s story is a gentle reminder that healing is possible, even after deep loss. With support, understanding, and open conversations, young people can find their way forward and rediscover hope, connection, and strength.
